Loren Franck
Loren serves as president and executive director of West Side Homeless Outreach. An award-winning journalist, he has published more than 1,000 Internet and national-magazine articles. He’s also a highly trained and experienced editor. For many years, he’s served needy people in local communities, especially the poor.

Verlette E. Franck
Helping the homeless isn’t new to Verlette. In various important capacities, she’s assisted disadvantaged people, including homeless men and women, for more than two decades. Gifted in accounting, finance and corporate strategy, Verlette is acutely aware of homeless people’s often-neglected economic needs.

An ardent West Side Homeless Outreach devotee, Loren is demonstrating his distinctive calling to show young people how to help the homeless. Since 2006, he has revealed to middle-school students, high-school students and other adolescents how to extend a hand up to local unsheltered individuals that need it most.
